How many cameras does a typical home need?
Most homes are fully covered with 4 to 8 cameras: front door, driveway, back yard, and each side approach. We walk the property first and quote actual sight lines rather than selling a fixed kit — some lots genuinely need 4, some need 10.
Can I watch my cameras from my phone?
Yes. Every system we install includes remote viewing — live feeds, motion alerts, and recorded playback from your phone anywhere with internet. We set the app up with you before we leave.
Wired or wireless cameras — which is better?
Wired (PoE) is more reliable for permanent home and business systems: no batteries, no WiFi dropouts, continuous recording. We use wireless links only where a wire genuinely can't go, like a detached gate or outbuilding.
How long is footage stored?
A typical NVR we install holds 2 to 4 weeks of continuous recording, longer with motion-only recording or a larger drive. We size storage to how far back you actually want to look.
